"Effective October 1, 2008, U.S. Customs requires that you file the Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) for international shipments electronically with the Custom's AES web site. When you file the SED with the AES web site, it responds with an ITN (filing confirmation number) or XTN (external transaction number). That ITN or XTN number must appear on the shipping label. This version of Clippership supports a new Special Service (Edit SED Info) to allow you to enter the ITN/XTN number or the FTSR exemption ID or description (that exempts you from having to file an SED for the shipment). The number that you enter in the SED Info dialog box will print on the DHL shipping label as SED: [the number you enter] in between the Service: and Customs value: lines. Clippership does not check the shipment information you enter to determine if an SED is required for the shipment - it is up to the shipper to know when an SED is required. A large fine is placed on shippers that fail to file an SED or provide incorrect FTSR or AES ITN/XTN information.

(Note: When upgrading please ensure license file has an "Upgradeable
Until" date in the Help, About, Details screen. If this date is prior to todays date, you will need to obtain a new license file for Clippership.)
